Answer #1

Mental wellness in individuals with chronic diseases is often underestimated. Mental illness like depression, emotional dimensions and frustration can be prevented in individuals who may develop a chronic disease like cancer, diabetes, stroke and etcetera if a person assess their risk factors and consult a medical professional way in advance. Seeing a medical professional or a doctor as a preventive measure early on, before being diagnosed with a disease can save so many people the struggle they go through mentally. Depression is the most common symptom found in individuals with chronic diseases. Prevention is better than cure. An individual not only goes through physical trauma, they go through mental trauma as well, which can be avoided if there is even a slightest of chance to be diagnosed with chronic diseases.
