please explain the he Matrix of Domination

Answer #1

Patricia Hill Collins in her Black Feminist Thought, brings out the struggle of black women I dealing with race, class and gender. A black woman had to go through race first, then her class determined her progress and finally just like any other women, black women had to undergo gender discrimination as well. There are other things that affect a woman such as, sexual orientation, religion and age. The matrix also focuses on the geographical influence, socioeconomic status etc. All these classifications form the basis of the matrix. Although it was written focusing the black women, it suits all the women in the world because they are all one way or the other dominated by all or few of the social factors.

Please explain how to do this... Jeff is producing an outdoor concert. He estimates that he will make 3100 dollars if it does not rain, and make 1000 dollars if it does rain. The local weather station (which we'll assume is accurate in giving forecasts) predicts that the chance of rain is 11 percent for the day of the concert. What is Jeff's expected earnings from the concert? Answer = dollars.
