Generalist intervention Model is a practice model providing step by step direction concerning how to udertakes the planned change process, which generally directed at addressing problem. This process is goes with several steps like engagement, assessment, planning, implimentation, evaluation, termination and follow up. It is a systamatic procedure to unlock the problem or issues.
Social work theories are general explanation that are supported by evidence obtained through the scientific method. Some of the major theories are : Systems theory, Social learning theory, Psychosocial development theory, Psychodynamic theory, transpersonal theory, rational theory etc. These all theories are a set of ideas that helps to explain why something happen or happened in a particular way and to predict likey out comes in the future. All these theories generated due to some issues or problems it may be a social or psychological. The sytematic approach given by generalist intervention model helps to solve the problems.
