Egalitarian principle advocates the fact that all the people in this world are equal and so equal opportunity should be given to everyone. The difference theory also suggests equality and equal opportunities but it also suggests that people who are less fortunate in the society should be given more opportunity.
Teachers getting guns is the recent ongoing debate that is going on in the US. This debate was the result of recent gun shooting in various schools and gatherings. Everyone has their right to live and everyone should be given equal opportunity to live their life happily. In order to prevent the ones from taking away the right of others to live the government has proposed that 20 percentage of the teachers could be armed with guns to protect others.
