According to the psychodynamic theory, the personality of individuals consists of the; id which is behind the instincts and pleasure-seeking drives, the superego which attempts to obey the rules of parents and society, and the ego acts as the mediator between the unrealistic id and the external real world.

Thee cognitive theories of personality lay emphasis on the processes of information encoding, the retrieval, of information, the role of expectations, motives, goals, and beliefs in the development of the stable personality characteristics. This theory focusses on an individual’s thoughts as the determinate of his or her emotions and behaviors and thus personality. Thus According to the suggestions of Albert Bandura, the forces of memory and emotions worked in conjunction with environmental influences.
