Issues in sampling arise more or less due to sampling biases. Sampling bias occurs in practice as it is practically impossible to ensure perfect randomness in sampling. While employing participants for a study, researchers need to ensure their sample size is relatively large and normally distributed. A small and unrepresentative sample can plague the accuracy of the study’s results. In order to overcome this barrier, it makes sense to narrow one’s population of interest so that meaningful interpretations can be drawn.
