Answer #1

The role of personality in emotions and moods

Personality would affect how a person might view certain emotions and how they would experience a particular mood. This can be viewed where some would be volatile people, getting agitated or irritated very easily, whereas some people have a quieter and calmer approach to complicated situation. This is explained in the form that emotions have a component of trait attached to them as the ability to experience a mood is built in. For example, some people might be unemotional, being distant from people and would thus rarely experience or show anger. These people have low affect intensity. People having high affect intensity would tend to laugh madly at a comedy and cry intensely. These are the people referred to as intense.
