Answer #1

Milgram did an experiment in the year in 1963 at the Yale University. In this experiment he experimented on the individuals how Authority works on the normal citizens . He was interested in finding out how so many people were involved in the masss massacre at the behest of Hitler's orders . In several experiments on people using his own students aas learners and people who came as volunteers as teachers who had authority to give a shock of up tp 450 volts on learner if they failed to learn , he observed that 65% teachers gave current upto 450 volts when ordered by the scientist . From this experiment he realised that normal people may go to extremes like killing some one at the order of Authority .

Milgram found that there is a huge impact of social influence on the individuals by authority . People tend to succumb to the orders of authority and act as advised .Obdience to authority comes naturally to human being beacuse of our social upbringing.
