Answer #1

The advantages of within subject design is otherwise called repeated measures design,as it does not require a big group of participants, individuals are randomly assigned to the treatment or independant variable .It is an experiment where the same group of subjects serve in one or more treatment. There is effecaincy in terms of subjects and time and it makes it easier to detect differences on independant variable as each subect behaviour condition is compared to the subject's behaviour of the other condition. For example if children were asked to study in a noisy room and then again asked to study in a quiet room, their concentration level is tested as to which environment is more effective for concentration and perfomance.Between subject designs is also called independant measures design .The participant is subject to only one treatment and it requires a large number of participants in a survey. This results in ineffecient results at certain times.
