People desire to an achieved status because it helps people to gain fame and name on the basis of their skills, talent, experience and hard work as opposite to ascribed status. People don't want to get ascribed status as it doesn't includes hard work and struggle which becomes a barrier in earning people confidence and faith.

Those people who believe on achieved status, they are more successful in life in comparison to those people who believe on ascribed status. Achieved status enables people to recognize their inned strength and will power which helps them to focus on their positive things for growth of their cognitive and working abilities.
