Compare Christ’s Golden Rule with Hobbes’ Golden Rule. Which do you think is more effective in getting people to obey the laws, and why?

Both the rules have similarities, though, the difference between the two rules may be of the difference in the thoughts. The line Of principles is similar, which states that we should do to others only that we would want to be done to ourselves. Christ’s rule incorporates that we should do something for a person just because it would be morally right and would lead to an outcome that is more peaceful. Hobbes rule, rather, is more direct in senses, which concentrates more on a person himself, rather than other people. According to me, both the rules are equal in being effective, since they are for the greater good of a person and the society as a whole.
