Answer #1

Early adulthood (ages 20–40) is the developmental stage wherein our physical abilities are at their peak, including muscle strength, reaction time, sensory abilities, and cardiac functioning. The aging process, although not overt, begins during early adulthood. Early adulthood is also the time where cognitive development occurs. This leads to heightened emotional regulation, an increase in ethical and moral decision making, as well as the development of interpersonal skills required for social growth and integration into society. Around the age of 30, young adults begin to experience slight changes in different parts of the body, due to the onset of aging. However, at this stage of development, young adults experience an optimal functioning of their physical and mental capabilities.
