An accommodation refers to an adjustment to a practice or
settings that removes barrier presented by a disability, so that
students can get equal access to same opportunities available to
un-disability students. Following are useful testing assessment are
listed below-
- There should be extra time to complete the exam.
- Teachers should read the test directions orally, and repeat
them as needed.
- Allow student to take test in a small group or
individually.
- Allow the student to answer orally
- Give breaks and break the test session into several parts.
- Provide preferential seating arrangement
- Open book test, use of calculator, and choice of test format
should be provided.
- Use positive reinforcements, peer supports, and daily feedback
to student.
