Write a short essay (a couple of paragraphs or so) that explains the skill of synthesis, and then elaborate on how you use this skill in your everyday life. Include an image or attachment to demonstrate how synthesis works or how you have used it.

The skill of synthesis involves using information that is already available to combine it in a new way. Synthesizing skills illustrate an individual's ability to think flexibly and combine information that they already know to form a new method of doing something while maintaining the essence of each element.  

For example: You want to boil an egg. The process involves heat and water. You have the water, but your school dormitory does permit you to have a stove or a hot plate in your room. You do however have a microwave. So, you could use that as your heat source, add water to a bowl and microwave the egg. You will also have to figure out the time that your egg would require in the microwave to be completely cooked.
