Discuss in detail to what extent you think the truth about terminal illness should be told to patients and their families and why?

I believe it is important for the patients to know about their Terminal illness. Though it would be a temporary depression but so many people have developed so many ways out of it. If the doctors are helpful with the decision it would help the patients in turn for decision making. People who are colse to the patient also get ready mentally ready to accept the fact. People built up on hope, they do not give up hope. Telling people about their terminal illness would give them more relief rather than building up false expectations.

If we read cancer patient stories we see that many patients did what they wanted to do in the life after they were being told of their illness. There are many supporters amongs health care, relatives who are always at help and ready to listen to their patient's fear and anxiety
