Answer #1

Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy or REBT is a form of psychotherapy helps the client to identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings, challenge the rationality of those feelings, and replace them with more productive beliefs. In case of people challenged with low self-esteem and/or depression, the therapist will work with them to identify the thought patterns that are holding them back. The therapist will help them see how these thought patterns are detrimental to them.Through using a variety of mental exercises like positive visualization, one learns to reduce the negative habit and pattern and replace them with more healthier and constructive thoughts.
