The Constitutional Founders created a government that accommodated different interests while maintaining the possibility of Republican virtue the founders wanted the US A to be a “mixed-republic” having a union of states i.e. federalism each with a republican form of government, which is ruled by elected officials and laws, that are bound by federal and state constitutions, to establish the democratic and liberal principles. Indeed, their wishes came true as today the United States has a strong democratic tradition with the Constitutional Federal Republic. Since the basis of the Republic of the USA is a democratically elected government it takes care of and accommodates different interests as the voice of people of the country is heard actively in the form of their franchise and active lobbying.
