political theory can be defined as a study which is used to describe the principles as well as theories that are used by people for explaining or describing political events. Two theories of politics that will be described are the normative theories and the normative political theories.

Empirical political theories concentrate on the situation at hand of with the reality and how the world is working. They are not concerned with the ideals and how the world should be whereas, the normative theories concentrate on the ideals and how the world should be ideally such that it would function best.
