Answer #1

In interpersonal communication  “I-Messages” are statements which begin with the word 'i' and convey ones own beliefs feelings etc, and "you messages" are focused on the other person who is part of the communication. I -messages are used in interpersonal communication and are effective in communicating with others without any interpersonal conflict. You - messages on the other hand may make the other person feel as though are at fault and may make them defensive because of the accusatory tone to it.

Example of “You-Messages” - "You were given one thing to do and you could not do it, and your attitude is unacceptable."

Example of “I-Messages” - "I feel very disappointed that the work has not been done today, i had many hopes and expectations on this project."
