One can find out about their audience either through research before they speak, or through interaction during the speech. Usually, it is a good idea to reserach about ones audience extensively beforehand as only very skilled presenters are able spontaneously alter their speech during the presentation. One good way to understand the audiences’ traits is by analysing the setting itself in which the presentation is to occur - whether it’s a formal environment or an informal setting. Next, it is helpful to contact an associate and ask them for more details about the audience. When a presentation is scheduled, one will be in contact with an individual who has organised it in the fort place, and one can directly approach that individual for more details about the audience preferences.
