Among the aforementioned trends, what I feel has has the largest influence on world trade and global marketing is social media. The use of this platform is allowing companies to target specific audience and maximise their impact on consumer behaviour. Facebook for example, uses demographic data of its users to show them advertisements of products and services that are likely to appeal to them.
