Sexual abuse is a very unfortunate incident or event that can happen to anybody. But when its a child sexual abuse , it can be much more deteriorating

When a child faces such an abuse , he/she is likely to face some of its long term effects such as :

Gult , shame , blame : The child might feel guilty about himself , for not being able to stop the abuse. He might then blame himself or his parents for such an incident. He might feel ashamed of himself.

Self esteem : The child might feel an utterly low self esteem following the unfortunate incident.

Intimacy and relationships : The child when grows up faces difficulties to maintain relationships and trust the other person completely.
