Answer #1

One of the most important ethics of research is confidentiality. The researcher should at all cost strive to keep the information of the subjects, secret because it would directly affect the subject’s personal and professional life. The researcher needs to protect the data of the subjects from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, loss or theft.

Informed Consent is yet another important research ethics which means that everything including the research purpose, process, time duration, data collection methodologies etc should be informed to the subjects in advance and their acceptance should be received in advance in written. The researcher shouldn’t at any cost change the accepted terms and if they change it should be intimated to people involved.
