if we used a likert scale or attitude scale instead of using one question with yes or norespond as dependent variable, what kind of stastical test would you use to analyze the data.

Solution :

When our dependent variable is categorical variable mean can take binary data 0 or 1. Than we will use logistic regression.

If our dependent variable is on likert scale than all responses should be converted into numerical variables so than we can use multiple regression analysis.

After this covrsion for 5 point rated scale we can use multiple regression analysis.
