Why does the Decleration of Indepence paint a dramatic picture of King George 3's dictatorship?
The Declaration of Independence painted a dramatic picture of King George 3's dictatorship as it was he who had labelled the struggle for independence as a rebellion of the colonies against the crown. In his famous speech the King George III said; “for daring and desperate is the spirit of those leaders, whose object has always been dominion and power, that they have now openly renounced all allegiance to the crown, and all political connection with this country.”
