Appiah tells us to live with fractured identities, to practice irony, and to engage in identity play. Elaborate on one of these three recommendations.
The message that Appiah wants to give to us, when he says , to practice irony is , we all have identities in this world, according to our gender, nationality, race etc. So according to Appiah we shouldn't stick to any one of our identities, for example, I am a woman, then I am supposed to do many things as a woman, but I like to adventures as men do, so I should pursue my interest and happiness rather than sticking to the identity of woman. Thus, we must not stick to the identity given and trying to elaborate them instead we must practice irony that is moving out of the box, our boundaries and practising our interests and happiness, that may go against the identities given to us.
