Answer #1

I come from a south Indian family from Indiai in Asia , In US we belong to a subculture society of Indians or generally referred to as Desi's . We are a member of subculture group with in India also . As our family members interact with people at their work place in offcie for my parents and at school and college for sibling and myself we find a huge cultural difference and we can easily connect with people from our own Indian culture. As a matter of fact among Indians also we connect well with people from south India as we are a subculture there.

Our social culture is different because of the type of values that we have . Inour culture we give high respect to individulas because they are elder to us . Here we find that there is a culture of equality among people . We also have xast hierrachy and it influences our behaviour but here people do not have such hierarchy in society . We prefer home cooked fresh food , here I find every one relishing packed ready to eat food . In our fa,milieis women manage all household affairs here men also take up house hold chores. Our clothing is also different .

These are the obvious diiferences in our culture and other culture .
