The strengths of St Jude Community benefit is as below :-
They work on a social benefit
They collaborate with society for health benefits
There out look is beyond primary health issues , they also work for obesity, substance abuse etc.
They work for uninsured and underinsured.
They have a great connect with physicians and have an ample infrastructure
Weaknesses could be
Access to right resources in medical care
dependence on collaborates for performance
Dependence on physicians on charity role
Apathy of society to participate wholeheartedly.
2. The collaborative will definitely have a greater impact on the region if they cooperated . The model of the hospital is community sharing based . A concerted effort from all collaborators will have a far reaching synergistic impact on the society than stand alone efforts.
3.The following is suggested to Ross to have better impact
Partnership to implement and sustain collaborative activities
Formal links with community partners.
Provide community input to identify community health issues.
Engagement of local government officials in strategic planning and advocacy on health related issues on a city, county, or regional level.
4. He should work on the feedback provided by community .
The priority areas should not be ignored .
Better monitoring and participation of collaborators.
More community engagement and communication .
