The elements of power according to Weber;

“the ability of an individual or group to achieve their own goals or aims when others are trying to prevent them from realizing them. Weber identified power as either authoritative or coercive. According to him, power is due to political power or the money power. However, Marx's concept of power is based solely on the notion that the capitalist class who has the means of production has power. Thus his basis of power is purely on the basis of money and means of production.
