Answer- " A penny saved is a penny earned" is completely true because the money which is saved is equal to the money which one has earned. Saving money is always a good and wise decision for all human beings. A person who spends everything whatever he earns is financially lower than person who earns less than him but saves something from it. Spending all our earned money may ruin us and create serious financial problems in our life. We should always spend money on our needs and rest of the money should be saved. Habit of saving money is one of the best habits which could be cultivated at an early age. We should always spend money whenever it is necessary. The habit of saving money is very beneficial and secures our future. So we can say that the quote by Benjamin Franklin, " A penny saved is a penny earned" is true because when a person decides to save his earned money and does not spend it unnecessarily, his life standard improves and future is secured.
