Answer #1

The sender receiver model involves a one-way communication in which one person, the sender, talks and the other person, the receiver, listens. This model is mechanistic because it is a constant one way process that involves no changes in delivery. It is impersonal and outdated because it doesn't involve constructive building of the conversation by participation from both parties. On the other hand, let us consider transactional mnodel of inyterpersonal communication. It involves simultaneously transfering messager from both sender and receiver and both the parties involve in the discussion which helps in constructive building of argument. It is more effective as the successive arguments are built from views of both the parties. Hence it is more ongoing and cooperative.
