Since deviance is the violation of the norms of the society, power has a role in the creation of the deviant behavior, as if power has a discriminatory approach it will create unrest and lead to a deviant behavior in the society. When the masses are not satisfied and exploited, it leads to anarchy, unrest, and deviance in the society. Power can attempt at the social control of deviance by having a fair legal system that penalizes the transgressors though court trails and subsequent police intervention in case of noncompliance.
