Epistemic merit model is induced and conceived by Sheryl tuttle Ross . Basically its an model of communication cycle and its relation to psychological effect in a human mind. This model insists on the way a receiver of the message who decodes and understand the message sended by the sender , the intelligency measurement is known as the epistemic merit model. Nowadays this measurement of merits are being applied on the aesthetic fields like modern art etc . Normally a layman can,t understand the inner meaning of a modern art but the people with such merits understands this very easliy.

Apart from modern art , this model can be used in any creativity like gardening, flowering and so on. This model is in very early stage and several researches are going on into this to develop it to a new extent.
