(Dependent Variables): I want you to describe two different dependent variables you would want to measure in your college friendship study. Remember, these are your participant responses to the independent variable, so use your IV as the stimulus that will produce changes in your DVs. Think of at least two different dependent variables!

Answer #1

From the previous example, we can choose participantion in extra curricular activities as the independent variable (which can be operationally defined as the number of extra curricular activities an individual has participated in during college). The first dependent variable can next be the number of friends made during college (quantitative aspect of friendship) and the second dependent variable can be the average time spent with one’s friends on a weekly basis (qualitative aspect of friendship).

Please answer appropriately/correctly and typed so it is legible! Mary is planning a study to see if learning of 6th graders on a math lesson is affected by background noise level. She wants to use a t-test for independent groups to analyze her results. Help her plan her study. What is her independent variable (IV) here? Describe two conditions she could create for the IV in her study. What is her dependent variable (DV) here? Describe a way to measure...

NEED ASAP Write 2 paragraphs using articles. You are required to design a research study. Describe what will be the independent variable and what will be the dependent variables. Tell what you would do to measure those variables and briefly describe the characteristics of the subjects that you will involve in the study. The study aims to explore this topic: What parent actions during students’ teenage years have an impact on college study hours, first-year-first-semester grade point average, and level...

Select two variables, one independent variable and the other the dependent variable. Explain the cause and effect the relation between the two. How would you construct the Simple Linear Regression (quantity of data and how you will measure the results), and what would you use to validate the equation forecasting an x value. What will be your expectation of the results of this investigation?

What do you predict will happen (do you expect something different than the hypothesis in the researcher instructions? If so, what and why?)? Do you think...
