Comparative approach is useful in the study of Social Problems because it is the comparative approach by which we can know the exact causes of the social problems and then we can suggest remedial measures to curb or elliminate social problems This approach is a very inquisitive approach where we try to know what, how, when, where and why a problem exists in a society.Problems like mass scale unemployment, poverty, social evils like crimes etc can be termed associal problems. In order to control or curb social problem we need to do a deep inquiry into the problems and comparative approach is very useful in doing so. Hence Comparative approach is vital for studying social problems.

Comparative approach is very much useful for analysing greater social problems like poverty and workplace issues and providing action plan for alleviating these problems.Through Comparative approach only, we can know the exact cause and consequences of social problems and then the methods suggested by the approach can be utilized for alleviating problems like poverty and workplace issues.
