Answer #1

Nonconsequentialism is a theory of ethics that the moral rightness or wrongness of actions cannot be solely based on the goodness or badness of the consequences of those actionsor the rules to which our actions may conform. There are two broad categories here. The firs is of the act or actions themselves. Act consequentialism which relates to a general absence of any rule so and morality is determined by the group of people and how they act in a certain situation. Morality is measured by the greater good of the collective as opposed to the harm to the larger group of people. However, the second view is of rule consequentialism wherein morality is a question of following certain explicitly laid rules or instructions and following the commands determines what is moral regardless of the outcomes of following the rules for the collective.
