  • The following brain break activities all work well in a high school classroom.

  • Acupressure Point-The students are asked to find the acupressure point between the thumb and index finger. It is located just where the thumb and forefinger meet, behind the webbing.

    Then they firmly press and massage this point for 30 seconds on one hand and then 30 seconds on the either.This pressure point helps relieve headaches, calms and revitalizes the minds of the students.

  • Deep breathing exercises also help.This works great with good relaxing music.It helps to improve focus and memory.

  • Doing yoga exercises and stretching of shoulders,legs muscles even neck muscles also re-energises the students.

  • Freeze Dance is a fun one,every so often the music stops, and students must freeze and hold the position they are in until the music begins again.
