Paraphilia is also called perversion or deviation from sex.
It is the intense sexual desire to unconventional things, situations, feelings, fantasies, objects and behaviours.
It is also known as sexual fetishism.There is no borderline between sexual interest between unusual things and paraphilia There is around 8 specific paraphilia disorder listed as DSM-5.
Cultural and social background plays a major role in influencing the paraphilia.
In U.S there are many behaviours and acts that are not considered as paraphilia like masturbation, nudity, sexual exhibitionism, homosexual behaviour, etc.
On the other hand in many another country like India, China, gulf and African countries many phalli acts are considered as non-phalli act like religious practices that include sexual practices in an unusual manner for achieving divine experiences.
