Null hypothesis: Clothing type has no significant impact on assessments of sexual assault.
Alternative hypothesis: Clothing type has a significant impact on assessments of sexual assault.
IVs: Clothing type (Sexually suggestive clothing, business casual clothing)
DVs: Assessment of sexual assault.
Best test to use: A repeated measures t-test would be most appropriate to use here, in order to check if any significant differences can be found in the participants' responses in the two clothing type conditions.
Results Write-Up: Results indicate a significant increase in assessments of sexual assault in the sexually suggestive clothing condition(M = 3.45, SD = 1.11) compared to the business casual clothing condition (M = 3.00, SD = .80), t(15) = 4.00, p = .001. [Dummy data, just for illustration]
