Life review is the evaluation of one's life,it accomplishments , failures, losses and successes. Life's review helps an individual to attain contentment of life's accomplishments. It creates a sense of worth towards one's life in the late adulthood. This helps the indivuduals to pass on their experiences to the next generations. According to Erickson the last of development stage of human life is integrity vs despair. At this stage of life when a person confronts mortality when death takes away the life partner , friends or colleagues, he/she introspects their life in terms of gains and losses.when a person positively evaluates life it develops ego intergration or contentment in life ,where as, a negative evaluation leads to despair.

The things for life's review would include the attainment of personal goals of being a good human being, developing as a good human being. How the family responsibilities were carried, how well the children are settled and how are they doing in their life. It will also include how well one was able to positively effect others and was helpful for others.
