Perception provides information about the properties of an object X on the basis of which X can be identified as one of the same objects Y. Here Introspection does not clearly define the properties of X which can then be compared to Y. This is because perception is something which we can hear, see and are aware, from which we give meaning to it. However, introspection is something that we look within ourselves, where we can trace some information but not the whole of it.
