(Answer) The California Verbal Learning Test measures episodic memory. Since it is a well-calibrated test that offers sharp results, it is the best test.

CVLT was designed to measure ‘recall’, ‘recognition’ and ‘encoding’ all in a single test.

The first edition of this test was released in 1994 by Dean C. Delis, Joel H. Kramer, Edith Kaplan, Beth A. Ober

The targeted test subjects are usually patients of Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Schizophrenia, Strokes, or children and adults with any probable speech and auditory impairment.

This test has helped broaden our understanding of such diseases and disorders and what these impairments entail.
