  • Men are more instrumental in their approach in developing their self esteem. They are more practical assuming that they have to manage the responsibilities of their family, they use mindfulness based approaches and focus only on this moment in time.
  • They focus more on refining their skills to get a better job and high salary so that they can provide everything to their families.
  • To develop self esteem, status is important to them and men focus more on getting high status jobs, bigger cars, taking care of one's looks i.e grooming etc.
  • They set higher and bigger goals for themselves to increase their self esteem and achieving those goals boosts their self confidence.
