According to the Conflict Theory by Marx and Engels; there are, contradictions in the interests in a society which lead to the conflict over scarce resources between the capitalist class and the worker which is the foundation of social society.

German sociologist Max Weber; the three biases of social stratification in a society are; the class, status, and power.
