The aspect of multitasking is directly related to how proficient an individual has become in carrying out the tasks at hand. This is also directly related to the process of attention. While a task at first requires a lot of attention but then gradually when neurons have fired together a number of times then the resources used and allocated to execute the process will be less required. In other words, the physiological resources used for carrying out a taak once an individual has become adept at doing it will not be much required.

The attention plays a majpr role in information processing. While processing the information or solving a puzzle, the connection between neurons established while multitasking plays its role and one can thus solve a puzzle more easily.
