(Answer) True – This statement is true based on observations that are cemented by the theory of evolution proposed by Charles Darwin. According to Darwin, the inherent attributed of a populace can adapt over time to its environment. This is possible through heritable variation.
Genetics, environment and even a factor like random chance could possibly result in variations in individuals and their observable characteristics. For instance, the human body cannot digest non-fat butter as easily as it can digest regular butter. This may nullify the purpose of eating non-fat butter, however, the reason for this is that for thousands of years, our ancestors have become used to regular butter. Our bodies are not as familiar with digesting the chemical structure of non-fat butter.
Through this example, it can be said that a populace might adapt to a certain part of their daily lives in a subtle and simple way through an extended period of time. This is exactly what evolution is and it is still changing us in a subtle and slow way.
