Homework Answers

Answer #1

If we accept that animals have rights, raising and killing animals for food is morally and ethically wrong according to some. Thus the protagonist of this film; is employed at the slaughterhouse; which is an ethical concern as it is something that he does not like. Further, the film focuses on everyday life in black communities and thus tries to raise a concern regarding the ethical issues of racial discrimination of the marginalized African American community. The political element is the issue of the economically deprived marginalized African American life.
