Answer #1

Conflict perspective suggests that the society is in a perpetual conflict for the limited resources available where social order is maintained not through consensus but through domination. This would mean that men were conditioned to believe that they are a superior gender and that women needs to be their subordinates. This would mean that they were the providers of the family and thus remained the heads of the family thus, they owned power with which they dominated women in education, employment, housing, healthcare, property etc. women were oppressed with the help of religion and culture which meant that the social norms and laws of the lands were developed by men in order to keep them under the control of men. Although women fought their way through the society and earned their equal rights legally, they still experience discrimination in terms of pay, promotion and welfare.
