The myth started by stating that safety is assured on the basis of number of people around you.but later on experiment,it reveals that safety is not assured by the maximum number instead it is assured by less number .

This myth states that safety is about the person's knowledge around the person in emergency not in the number of persons around you.At the same time , if there is only one person ,then there is more chance of helping the person in emergency.because ,he or she is the only person to help those in emergency.if there is a group of people,everyone is like why should I care when no one else around me cares about the person in emergency.

Actually it states that the person's helping tendency is showed mostly in emergency situations rather than normal situations.so that safety is assured based on knowledge and not based on number.
