Answer #1

1.The interpretation of an individual 's personality through their handwriting is called as graphology. Graphology can be defined as the study and analysis of physical characteristics of handwriting in order to find out the psychological states and personality characteristics of a person.

Various physical characteristics such as size of the alphabets, pressure, slant are used to assess the distinct personality of the individual.

2.Graphology is considered as a pseudo science today. Various studies were conducted to test it's effectiveness. In 1987,graphologists were unable to predict scores for eysneck personality questionnaire. Also in 1988 it failed to predict the personality scored for myrre-briggs personality test. Similar results were found for assessment in job performance. Thus it is considered as a myth and pseudoscience.
